Bangkok’s best-known gay sauna and one of the longest-running gay venues. Babylon’s extensive facilities include a large pool, steam room, dry sauna, jacuzzi, dark room, maze and private cabins.
You can top up your tan, swim, workout, enjoy a meal at the surprisingly good restaurant, sip a beer in the chill-out areas, or simply unwind in the hands of a male masseur. Lockers are provided. Bring cash but leave valuables at your hotel or put them in one of the security boxes, next to the reception.
Monogamous gay couples can enjoy Babylon’s relaxed 100% environment as much as anyone else. We recommend bringing your own flip-flops (and gym gear if you want to work out).
Sunday afternoons are busiest. During SongKran Festival in April, Babylon fills up very quickly, and admission is on a ‘one in one out’ basis.
